Rainbow Cake

I made this for my son's 2nd Birthday party. Here are the steps to making it:

We used two boxes of the Edmund's Vanilla cake Mix and followed the instructions
Then I divided the mixture into 5 bowls and added my colors (gel works best)
Then just poured layer upon layer!!!!
Wow....now it was getting very exciting indeed!!!! In the oven she went as per the box instructions!
Now for decoration (after some serious freezer time to cool the cake down)
I went for an almond flavored fondant that I rolled out and dyed blue. Then after brushing the cake with apricot jam syrup (apricot jam and water combined) I gently placed the blue fondant on the cake.
SQUEAL - its decoration time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And a little more....
And finally to cut her open....
